Our client is recruiting a Finance Assistant with a core focus on the Accounts Payable function, the role will offer a great opportunity for the right candidate to develop and grow with the company in a fun but hardworking team. If you are a A-Level student just leaving education this could be a great step into the Accounts world or a candidate working in Accounts and would like to study AAT.
Job role:
- Matching, checking and coding supplier invoices
- Accurate entry of supplier invoices including the correct treatment of VAT and CIS
- Processing subcontractor invoices
- Scanning and digitally filing of financial records
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Taking control of supplier invoice queries liaising with both internal and external stakeholders
- Company credit card reconciliation
- Managing the purchase ledger inbox
- Assisting in the preparation of payment runs
- Offering support and cover to colleagues in the finance team including assistance with credit control
Person Specification
- A confident, effective communicator
- Knowledge of MS Office systems and Sage (preferred)
- Organised and methodical
- Possess the desire to have a career in Finance
- Eager to learn

Hours 8.30-5pm M-F office based.
Car Driver is essential due to the location initially, however the company will be relocating to Sidcup in the summer.
