The client is a rapidly growing organisation within the construction industry, who are on an extreme path of growth set to increase substantially in the next 12 months. Due to this exciting growth they are now looking to recruit a Financial Administrator to support the role of the Finance Manager.

The role of Finance Administrator is an important function within our client’s business process. Operationally, the role pulls together a variety of different accounting and administrative skill sets in order to successfully achieve results for their clients, third parties, as well as internally within the firm.

Working hours:

As an Finance Administrator, you’ll be required to work 5 hours a day (flexible).

The successful Accounts Administrator will be offered:

£25,000 - £30,000 (Depending on experience)

Annual bonus and salary review.

To be considered for the Finance Administrator role you must:

Experience working within a similar accounts administrator position.

Be professional in every aspect of work.

Be a team player and be able to liaise with all departments in the firm.

Be courteous, polite, and always have a helpful attitude.

Be able to engage with clients at all levels of the business.

Remain positive in all aspects of work.

Go over and above to really add value to the company’s service.

Your role will involve:

  • Bank reconciliation - on a daily basis post receipts and payments from bank accounts to accounting systems
  • Raise sales invoices for external and internal customers, reconcile sales ledger and ensure that payments are received for all monies outstanding in a timely way.
  • New client account set up, including payment terms, methods and checking VAT codes
  • Resolve any queries or billing issues promptly to minimise payment delays
  • Enter client receipts and other bank transactions and performing bank reconciliations for review
  • Support the Finance Manager in completing transactions, with basic accounting entries and month-end duties
  • Ad-hoc requests from senior management

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week

Salary: £20,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
