We are currently looking to recruit people who can make a significant contribution to the continuing development of KPMG's Quality Engineering and Testing Services team (within the Connected Technology team).

You will work as part of a growing Accessibility Testing team, developing, and delivering accessibility QA services.

The Role includes:
  • Building and developing positive constructive relationships inside and outside KPMG
  • Assessing problems from multiple angles to ensure all relevant issues are considered when making decisions
  • Proactively driving forward new and creative ideas which benefit the client and stakeholders
  • Accessibility Testing specialist - developing and delivering a variety of accessibility related QA services
  • Test analysis and design, including development of test scripts / suites for functional & technical testing
  • Development of accessibility testing frameworks, tools & utilities, and application of 3rd party tools
  • Execution of tests / suites and report results, capture execution & key metrics over time
  • Working with delivery teams to ensure application acceptance criteria for tests are fit for purpose
  • Work collaboratively with client business and IT teams to deliver accessibility testing and QA services
  • Defect management, including raising and resolving defects in a structured manner, and providing solutions
  • Development of skills and experience, moving into leadership and test management roles
  • Working in project methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall and other hybrid methods alongside


Personal Attributes:
  • An experienced QA tester of medium to large testing projects across a variety of technology
  • Good understanding of web and mobile technologies, with a genuine desire to improve technology for all
  • Experience producing or assessing accessible products that adhere to organisational and WCAG guidelines
  • Ideally you will hold an accessibility certification or qualification (such as IAAP CPACC)
  • Experience with browser and CLI accessibility test tools (such as Pa11y, AXE, Inspect, WAI toolbar)
  • Sound knowledge of assistive technologies (such as JAWS, NVDA, Dragon, VoiceOver)
  • Excellent knowledge of Software Testing / QA Life Cycle including understanding the various types of testing (such as manual, automated, functional, non-functional), ideally ISEB/ISTQB qualified
  • Confident in developing test plans, acceptance criteria and test conditions / test cases
  • Good understanding of test management tools (such as HP ALM, JIRA, Zephyr, Azure DevOps)
  • Excellent skills in acquiring and analysing test data
  • Ability to support test management in risk management, estimation, planning, prioritisation, and reporting
  • Evidence of leadership skills, keen to develop and progress into senior technical or management roles
  • Demonstrates curiosity and open mindedness to new ideas approaches and perspectives
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to influence stakeholders, and build strong relationships
  • Be a passionate advocate for Inclusion and Diversity
  • Some knowledge and experience of test automation, non-functional testing, and technical testing
  • You may need to undergo UK security vetting, ideally you will already hold security clearance or will have been successfully vetted previously
