Academy Scout

Rotherham United Football Club (RUFC Ltd) are currently looking to engage Academy Scouts within Rotherham, Sheffield, Barnsley, Leeds/Bradford, Wakefield and Derbyshire, on a casual basis.

Reporting to the Head of Academy Scouting, you will make a valuable contribution to the Scouting Network, identifying and reporting on the most talented young players in your designated geographical area.

Hours are flexible but generally over the weekend and evenings and experience, current or past, in grassroots or Academy football, is preferred but not essential

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of scouting/recruitment in an Academy environment (Desirable)
  • Fully Enhanced DBS (application completed at the Club)
  • FA Safeguarding Qualification up to date (This can be arranged thorough the Club)
  • FA talent ID qualification or willingness to undertake
  • Full Driving Licence
