The primary responsibility of the Academic Manager is to ensure academic excellence in accordance with the accreditations held by the Centre.
To achieve this, the Academic Manager is responsible for recruiting and training teachers and ensuring the successful delivery of TLG courses in line with stated policies, procedures, and methodology. The staff and customer journeys and experiences must be positive, as reflected in feedback and in alignment with the pillars of the TLG Centre of Birmingham.
Additionally, the Academic Manager is responsible for compliance with accreditation standards and leading the centre to achieve ever-improving accreditation reports. This requires a keen understanding of the accreditation process and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Overall, the role of the Academic Manager is critical to the success of the TLG Centre of Birmingham and requires a combination of strong academic and leadership skills, as well as an ability to balance the operational, financial, and academic aspects of the business.

The ideal candidate:
The Academic Manager role in the TLG Centre of Birmingham is a demanding position that requires the successful candidate to take responsibility for all operational, financial, and academic aspects of the business, as well as ensuring a high-quality student experience from arrival to departure.
To be considered for the role, candidates must hold a DELTA (or equivalent) qualification and have at least three years' management experience in an ELT school. Additionally, a degree and DELTA (or equivalent) qualification are essential, with a minimum of three years' management experience in an ELT school being preferable.
