About the Trust

Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, rated ‘Good’ in their most recent CQC report, provides high quality care for a population of 500,000 across three hospitals, local bases and within the community. Popular shift patterns are available, such as 07.30 – 15.30 and 20.45 – 07.45 (e.g., short-shifts during school hours can be discussed).

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Communicate with patients, visitors, and carers to ensure they are comfortable and safe.
  • Assist with the admission, safe transfer, and discharge of the patient.
  • Maintain patient clinical records in a concise, accurate and timely manner.
  • Support families/carers as directed by the Registered Nurse and multidisciplinary team.
  • Comply with the Trust Moving and Handling policy

You’ll have the following qualification/experience:

· A minimum of 6 months paid experience in an A&E hospital environment within the last 3 years

. You are currently studying as a Student Nurse having completed 12 weeks’ clinical placement.

· Undertake regular mandatory training*

*Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.
