CONVEYANCING ASSISTANT
9 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT – COMMENCE MAY 2023

SALARY UP TO £26,000
My client has an opportunity for a Conveyancing Assistant to undertake a Maternity Contract based in their Woking office. The contract will commence in May.
Description:
- Opening new files, dealing with agents details and initial letters.
- AML checks on clients, processing funds on account.
- Updating New Matters List and TFB accounts system
- CASA case management with full client details, solicitors full reference.
- Checking forms returned by client for correct information, applying for OCE and issuing contract papers
- Dealing with enquiries raised by other lawyer, reporting to client with contract and obtaining replies to enquiries from them.
- Dealing with calls from agents/client/lawyers and updating as required
- Exchange and completion formalities on sale files and on purchase files handed over by fee earner.
- Filing during day
- SDLT submissions on completion, LR applications and dealing with requisitions if raised
- On purchase, dealing with all post exchange formalities through to completion and dead filing system once fully completed
- Ensuring file checklists fully completed at all stages
- Monitoring post completion formalities of LMS/Lender Exchange, ensuring OS1 timescales noted and priority periods monitored
