Job description
We have an exciting opportunity for an Energy & Waste Officer to join our team at Barnsley Facilities Services (BFS) which is a subsidiary company of the Barnsley Hospital Group. Barnsley Hospital provides acute healthcare for the people of Barnsley and surrounding areas.
BFS provides first class onsite estates, facilities and procurement services to Barnsley Hospital and the wider community. We have green credentials with features such as electric charging points in staff car parks, access to the NHS car lease scheme, secure cycle storage facilities, all of our grid electricity is supplied by 100% renewable sources, we have signed the NHS pledge to remove single use plastics and much more. We are fully committed to becoming net zero and we have developed our ambitious Green Plan that provides a framework and roadmap to achieve net zero by 2040.
