Our 3rd Line IT Infrastructure Manager will manage a team of 2nd and 3rd Line Infrastructure support experts, to ensure the support and delivery as part of the overall Enterprise Managed Services Technical Services remit. This remit underpins the shared services support model, consultancy to internal and external customers, design assurance and training & knowledge sharing with upstream support teams.
You will be responsible for maintaining appropriate skills within the team to support existing and new customer requirements in line with the EMS Service Catalogue and portfolio.
1. Effective management of geographically disperse technical teams to deliver successful technical resolutions to complex customer issues
2. Working closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and customers to understand their requirements and build an effective working relationship to ensure the smooth running of contracts
3. Management of team workload and deliverables to meet key performance indicators
4. Participating and contributing to continuous improvement and coaching plans within the team
5. Planning of complex change with first time delivery to ensure sustained service across wide ranges of products and solutions

What we would like to see on your CV
1. Highly customer focussed with a drive to provide proactive, pre-emptive and best in class service
2. Background in server operating system and management, Windows and Linux Unix
3. Experience of virtualisation, cloud technologies, Azure and AWS
4. Experience of backup, replication and recovery technologies as well as disaster recovery and business continuity
5. The successful candidate must be willing to undergo Government Security Clearance to SC level, which requires residence in the UK for a minimum of 5 years
