Utherverse Digital, Inc. is a software development company whose main focus is Virtual Worlds - places where people can come together from all over the world to meet, play, learn, and build their own communities without having to leave their own home. Our small, international team has worked hard to create a big worldwide community of people from all walks of life. We’ve done well despite the pandemic, and are looking forward to more growth as we launch our next range of products.

We are currently looking for a 3D Modeler and Texture Artist with 3-5 years experience creating various 3D models from scratch and/or from sampled photos, scanned references or from any artwork provided. We need to add new models and textures into our metaverse developed using Unity3D.

We are working on a very high profile platform backed by very large industry partners. This platform is already deployed in limited availability. Base functions and services are operational, new team members are to now assist and lead in adding advanced functionality. Project is supported by a large and experienced team of industry leading experience in virtual world and metaverse development.

Who We’re Looking For:

Our ideal candidate will produce smooth and stylized models for a wide variety of purposed within our metaverse. We’d love to find someone who enjoys collaborating with a team to create something fun and easy to use for others to enjoy.

  • Work together with other animators and artists to develop objects such as props and game characters.
  • Utilize 3D models to produce game objects based on game specs.
  • Quickly create and iterate on prototypes showcasing new designs and concepts.
  • Ensure the best performance, quality, and detail of modeling.
  • Create realistic textures.
  • Ability to do Face Sculpting
  • Complete tasks within production deadlines while being largely self-directed, proactive, collaborative and passionate about the project.
  • Ensure all content meets the highest quality bar and performance requirements of the engine.
  • Participate in R&D, problem solving artistic solutions to technical problems.
  • Take constructive feedback from supervisors and deliver those changes in an efficient and timely manner.
  • You have a mindset for collaboration and teamwork.
  • You like the idea of working at a fast-paced company and are agile/adaptable.
  • You want to develop scalable tech products and experiences.
  • You're a stickler for visuals and creating real life scenarios or environments.
  • Ability to interpret realistic elements with a high level of detail and accuracy, with a good understanding of volumes and materials;
  • Proficient in subdivision surface and game-engine modeling workflows and techniques with rig-ready topology.
  • Ability to texture in a variety of styles for game and animation uses
  • Solid understanding of displacement map and normal map generation.
  • Excellent technical troubleshooting skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Thorough understanding of industry standards and best practices.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask.
  • Must be able to adapt to various artistic styles for a variety of project types.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience with creating 3D Models specifically designed to work in Unity3D
  • 2-4 Years of Texturing Experience
  • Willingness to learn new game engine platforms and optimize animation workflows for those platforms
  • Good artistic vision
  • Ability to create technical documentations
  • Fluency in English
