Role: 2nd Line Support Specialist (office)
Location: Remote within the UK - We operate a choice based working ethos at Konica Minolta where we encourage employees to work in an environment that gets the best from them. This may be working from home, or using your Regus office membership to work from an office local to you within the UK.
Package: £24,000 - £33,000 plus discretionary bonus of 10%
We are looking for a 2nd Line Support Specialist to join our team and reporting into the Remote Support Team Leader.
This role would suit someone who comes from a strong IT background with knowledge of computer operating systems and is an experienced trouble shooter! Knowledge of trouble shooting methodologies would be advantageous but not essential!
You will be providing first class solutions to our customers and working with our field service teams, PRS and onsite teams and so excellent written and verbal communication is a must.
What we are looking for:
To be successful in this position:
- Strong technical IT background and the ability to manage our products and services technically
- Sound business acumen with a good understanding of the overall business and industry sectors
- Good understanding of Windows Operating Systems
- Good understanding of Group Policy
- Good understanding of Active Directory
- Ability to perform methodical troubleshooting of an incident
- Pro-active in pre-empting issues and problems
- Excellent written and verbal communication
