Job description
We are looking for a customer service orientated sales coordinator for our Test and Engineering consultancy business.
A key member of the Sales Front office team providing first point of call for both external and internal sales leads with the ability to advise new and existing clients on the full range of products and services.
Working with test and engineering capability groups within the organisation to compile and write template quotations in line with company guidelines. Managing quotations through the approval and compliance process, issuing to customers, following up outstanding quotes with the aim of maximising business opportunities, leading to the generation of new and future business.
Supporting the management of the commercial sales pipeline and managing expectations with internal and external customers.
Please note:
- Hybrid - flexible working contract - Work onsite for 2/3 days out of the week. Home office set up essential for days working from home (supported set up by HORIBA MIRA)
- Flexibility with working hours required, core office hours but out of hours work may be required
Experience
Essential experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales support / customer services support/sales support role
- Experience providing excellent customer service where communication is crucial (both written and verbal)
- Experience in roles that require effective organisational, time management, analytical, and active listening skills.
- Confident and experienced in preparing costs and delivering detailed quotations.
- Experience directly working with customers and internal departments with varying levels and different needs/styles.
- Extensive experience in office tools and data base management (such as word, excel, powerpoint and CRM systems)
- Experience providing detailed quality reports and documentation that include numerical data.
- Used to multi-tasking, prioritising and managing time effectively (in a busy working environment), with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Used to roles where there is a need to continually develop new skills as the role requires such as such as representation in customer/sales meetings, processing and preparing reports, conducting investigations
Preferred experience
- Knowledge of automotive engineering
- Sales Negotiation experience
- Strong CRM experience
- Working knowledge and experience in bid management in a similar working environment

Qualifications
Essential
- GCSE Maths and English A-C
- Educated to A-level or equivalent
Preferred
- Qualification in Business Administration
- Qualification in Customer Services
- Accreditation in Bid preparation/quotation support
