We are looking for candidates who have an analytical mindset, strong communication skills and a keen interest in Finance. We have a range of roles within Group Finance; from more typical accounting roles such as controlling financial products or producing entity accounts, to project managers driving change, through to more technical specialists who lead the way in innovation.

You will also have the opportunity to work towards acquiring further qualifications such as CIMA or CFA.

You'll be working within Group Finance. We act as financial experts to the businesses of UBS, including the Investment Bank, Wealth Management and Asset Management. Our role is be the guardians of the firm's resources, maintaining the books and records, be strategic partners to the business, preparing management and regulatory reporting, whilst striving to improve our processes through technologies and an innovative mindset.

Your expertise

You need to be graduating between 2022 and 2024. You need to have, or be on track for a 2.1 (UK grading system) or equivalent in your first undergraduate / bachelor degree..

It doesn’t matter what you’re studying. (Really, it doesn’t.) But we’d like to see evidence that you can:
  • analyze a problem, take a view and come to a
decision
  • plan, organize and communicate well
  • make things happen
  • stick with a task
  • work in a team
  • come up with ideas

Perhaps you’ve organized a fundraising event or taken part in team sports? Or persevered and passed an exam in a subject you found challenging? Think about how things you’ve achieved match the skills we’re after.

Your Program

Our Graduate Talent Program (GTP) lasts 18 months. You'll be directly involved in day-to-day operations, working with professionals and gaining first-hand experience of our business.
As well as on-the-job learning, you’ll get training on the financial markets, our products and other core business topics. Rotational assignments are a key part of the program. By taking on other roles within Finance and in related departments, you’ll gain a wider perspective.
Besides all that, you'll attend networking events, cross-business classes and social occasions where you'll get to know us.
