Real Chemistry is looking for a Junior Designer to join our growing team!
We’re looking for a problem-solving designer with true passion for design and social media. We want someone who will bring fresh eyes to our client’s design projects. You will understand what makes great artwork, from the typographic choices all the way down to the technical considerations – your experience will have honed your skills and desire to thrive in a fast-paced agency environment.
- Bring creative flair to design briefs however big or small
- Ensure you fully answer and provide a solution to each creative brief, while delivering projects on time
- Confer with creative, art and copy to translate client requirements into exciting design options
- Provide input on design strategy, suggesting styles/techniques based on client requirements, objectives, budget, background information
- Present design solutions to the art director/creative director for final approval before delivering to clients
- Create custom illustrations or other graphic elements as needed to bring designs to life
- Actively engage in creative brainstorming sessions both internally and with clients
- Partner with other team members including account managers and other designers to deliver and maintain creative work to consistently high standards

- Highly organized with a mindfulness of deadlines, the ability to manage multiple tasks based on priorities and a strong attention to detail
- Has confidence to manage upward when required; able to communicate with managers when deadlines will not be met or when issues are foreseeable
- High energy, able to effectively operate in fast-paced, growing and evolving environment
- Strong written and oral communication and presentations skills
- Good management of Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) – particularly PowerPoint
