An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Occupational Therapy Assistant Practitioner to work as an essential member of the Occupational Therapy Team in delivering assessment and rehabilitation to patients.
The successful applicant will be joining a very stable and dynamic team with a passion for integrated working which puts patient outcomes and their experience at the heart of the process.
We are a forward thinking, dynamic service which promotes excellence and innovation and provides safe and compassionate support to our patients.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, have relevant experience and evidence of working in a team. The service is committed to supervision, staff development and student education. Successful candidates will be operationally and professionally managed within the Occupational Therapy Service.
This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post
St John’s Hospital in Livingston is within commuting distance of Edinburgh, Glasgow, Falkirk, Lanark and Fife. There are excellent public transport links from Glasgow and Edinburgh.
