Sonographer - Band 7 - Permanent Post
University Hospital Wishaw
Exciting opportunity to join us at University Hospital Wishaw as a Sonographer to support the Superintendent Sonographer in meeting operational and strategic targets, and improving the quality of patient care within the Radiology Specialty and to independently perform and report ultrasound examinations and train Radiology Registrars, alleviating Consultant Radiologists time constraints.
Candidates must be Registered Radiographer with valid HCPC Registration and be educated to/working towards/operating at Degree Level.
You will have post graduate expertise within speciality / area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge required to lead safety, effectively and efficiently along with comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within the speciality / area of practice.
We are looking for someone with specialist knowledge and experience of relevant conditions, pathology, policies and procedures associated with the speciality/area of practice ensuring that the level of expertise can be utilised to deliver leadership within speciality / area of practice.
