An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time permanent band 5 Occupational Therapist within the Midlothian Community Mental Health Team based in Dalkeith.
Applicants should have a genuine interest in this clinical area alongside excellent communication and team-working skills
The post holder will be required to provide a comprehensive service of assessment, diagnosis, treatment/appropriate management, onward referral and discharge to a diverse range of patients referred to the service.
The post holder will also be required to supervise and support Occupational Therapy assistants, clinical support workers, and students.

This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
This shift pattern for this post is Monday- Friday 37.5 hours per week
