Assistant Psychologist, up to 0.5 WTE Band 4 (2-year fixed-term)
Lothian Substance Misuse/Alcohol Related Brain Damage Service
Please note: As this post is part-time, the salary will be pro-rata.
We have an exciting opportunity for a band 4 Assistant Psychologist (up to 18.75 hours per week) to work within the Lothian Substance Misuse Psychology Team. The post holder will become part of a well-established and very welcoming substance misuse psychology team and will work predominantly with the Alcohol Related Brain Damage (ARBD) services, based at Milestone House in Edinburgh. The post holder will carry out cognitive assessment of patients and support the running of cognitive rehabilitation groups. They will also assist in the organisation, administration and delivery of a new program of staff training and will assist in data collection and analysis for audit, research and service development purposes. They will attend and take part in both psychology and multidisciplinary team meetings.
