CheckoutSmart is a growing digital shopper marketing agency. We deliver sales and marketing campaigns on behalf of FMCG brands such as Danone and General Mills via our app and web site. We have a user base of over 1.5m and a reach of over 10m. We are a friendly team where everyone mucks in to ensure we get whatever it is done. The working environment is relaxed but focussed on delivery for our clients and members. We are looking for a workplace student (i.e. currently studying for a Bachelors or Masters) to come in for 12-14 months as part of the team.
Responsibilities:
The role interacts directly with all members of the team including Sales, Marketing and Tech. This is a great opportunity to be involved in the centre of a fast paced and rewarding working environment where your input matters and your impact is obvious.
Generally we work from home on Monday, Thursday and Friday and in the office Tuesday and Wednesday. While you are in induction (probably until Christmas) you would be expected to be in the office on Thursdays as well with other new starters and line managers. Full support will be given to enable home working.
This role is for students who are currently for a Batchelors or Masters and want a 1 years internship as part of their studies.
Business/Data Analyst responsibilities include:
- Offer performance analysis
- Creating and running internal/customer reporting using MySQL, Excel/Google Sheets & PowerPoint.
- Perform data quality assurance.
- Delivery of final reports to Account teams.
- Communicating key insights and findings.
- Data Management & Improvement.
- Help design, document and maintain system processes.
- Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer.
- Market Research program delivery.
- Creating and analysing member surveys.
Administrative responsibilities include:
- Offer management
- Setting up, monitoring, and making changes to promotional activity.
- Working closely with Account Managers to ensure smooth running of campaigns.
Skills & Qualifications:
A candidate is expected to have before applying:
- Excellent numerical and logical analysis ability
- Strong knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets formulae Inc. Pivot Tables, Vlookups, IF statements.
- Good PowerPoint skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
The ideal candidate would already have the following, but they can be trained on the job:
- Knowledge in writing (My)SQL queries
- More Advanced Excel/Google Sheets
