Overview
The Governors and Headteacher of this successful and popular school are seeking to appoint an excellent and caring Learning Support Assistant to support an individual with additional needs in Lower Key Stage 2.
Term time only
Start Date: As soon as possible
Salary details: 1B Scale 7-10 (pro rata) depending upon experience
Contract type: Fixed Term - until 21st July 2023 (in the first instance)
Hours: Full Time - 5 full school days (8:45am - 3:30pm)
Closing date: Friday 17th March.

About the role
Our school is looking to appoint a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to support an individual pupil's learning in the classroom with a starting date asap. The position is full time, 5 days per week during term time (8:45am - 3:30pm) and includes a lunchtime supervision. An ability and willingness to teach small groups of students and to support their English and Mathematics skills and individual development is essential.
About you
We are looking for a caring and patient individual who is positive and proactive to join our supportive team. Somebody who is prepared to take the time to get to know a child and really understand their strengths and areas for development. Somebody who is creative and can adapt resources to suit an individual child's needs.
We wish to employ an inspiring, thoughtful individual who is both creative and passionate about learning. An individual who is able to use their initiative and who enjoys working collaboratively as a team. A good level of English and Maths Skills is essential.
Experience working with children with additional needs would be beneficial but is not essential.
