Job description
The Zero Gravity Campus Ambassador Programme is back for 23/24
Our 2022 ambassadors have smashed it, so now we’re recruiting another cohort of social impact leaders on campus. We’re looking for members who love Zero Gravity and its mission as much as we do, who will help us as we scale our impact to propel 20,000+ students into top unis and careers by 2025.
Want to complete your year with a portfolio of social impact, event-planning and networking under your belt? This is the role for you.
The Mission
Zero Gravity’s mission is to propel high-potential students from all four corners of the UK into top universities and careers; first in the UK, and then worldwide. Through our award-winning digital platform, Zero Gravity unlocks education and career opportunities for talented students from all backgrounds by propelling them into the UK's best universities and careers.
Since launch, Zero Gravity has mentored 8,000+ students into top universities, including 400+ into Oxbridge. We’re on track to support another 10,000+ this year, and we’re not stopping there. We have partnered with top graduate employers such as HSBC and KPMG to propel top students like you into leading graduate roles, unlocking access to career opportunities and professional networks at an unprecedented scale.
The Details
Have you built up a ‘network’ of amazing mates at uni?
Are you outgoing, ambitious and creative?
Do you want to gain first-hand exposure to a social impact startup whilst genuinely impacting social mobility on your campus?
If the answer is yes to any of these, you could be the one we’re looking for!
So what does a Zero Gravity ambassador actually do?
-
The role runs from the start of summer 2023 to the end of summer 2024, with a lot of flexibility around work, study and other commitments.
- On average, ambassadors deliver projects for around 8-12 hours per term so that you can create an impact around your own schedule.
- You will be in a team of two at your university working closely with our head office and UK-wide team of campus ambassadors.
- The main goal for ambassadors is to act as super-recruiters of new students onto the Zero Gravity platform.
Throughout the year, you will deliver simple projects within three areas:
- Student Recruitment: On-campus activations, campus shout-outs, events & marketing.
- Brand: Photo-shoot planning, creating social media content with the Brand Team, and being the first port of call to star in video content.
- Community: Running community events, competitions, moderating spaces, getting involved with developing our online community and what it’ll look like in the future.
What we can offer you:
Incredible Mission - Be part of a mission-driven business that is transforming the lives of our users and disrupting the status quo.
Central London Training Day - Join your national ambassador team for a fully-funded central London training day.
Rewards and Incentives - This is a voluntary position. But throughout the year there will be giveaways, competitions, rewards and incentives for the impact you generate.
Exposure and Opportunities - Gain increased opportunities within Zero Gravity, including our internships, brand opportunities and career accelerator programmes.
Eligibility:
You must be a Zero Gravity member signed up as a mentor on the platform.
You must have studied at a UK university for at least one year.
