ATTENTION FILM MAKERS! Are you a video editor with a passion for storytelling? Do you have a passion for consuming social content and binge-watching Youtube videos? Then this may be the most exciting role of your career… we are looking for a rockstar YOUTUBE EDITOR to join the team.
Background:
Julius Dein is a popular magician + content creator with over 20 million followers across Instagram/ Facebook/ Youtube. Julius is now moving into longer form Youtube content- lifestyle vlogs and mini films about his travel experiences which will incorporate epic storytelling, humour, culture and of course- magic!
We are looking to take our long-form content to the next level and work with a talented film-maker to turn raw content into an exciting Youtube video! Therefore, we are looking to bring on a talented video expert to join the team.
Who will you be working with?
Julius lives with a group of likeminded creators living and working together in a content house, filled with youthful humour, social-media obsessed personalities and lots of big personality! We live and breath content production. After gaining over 2 millions subscribers in 2 months we feel this is an amazing opportunity, for the right person, to grow as our Youtube editor.
Who are you?
You have a strong understanding of social content ( has seen plenty of Facebook/ YouTube
content previously) who can edit exciting and interactive mini film. Your talent and work ethic will need to be of the highest quality and suitable for millennials- your work will be seen by millions of people worldwide.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Editing long form, multicam, vlog style content
- Sorting / categorising video footage
- Create your own narrative for YouTube Vlogs
- Sourcing copyright free music to accompany visuals
- Photoshop YouTube Thumbnails
Expectations:
- Work closely with and report directly to our Head of Production
- Content analysis i.e. Footage / Music / Photography
- Attention to detail
- Time management and prioritisation of tasks
- Communication with copywriters and freelancers
- Editing of the highest standard
Desirables:
- Videography Experience
- YouTube Editing Portfolio
- Hunger to grow within the role
- Understanding of YouTube
- Understanding of SEO - YouTube tagging
- Sense of humor! Your editing style needs to appeal to a millennial audience
Employment Type:
Part time (remotely) although this may transition into a full time job for the right applicant.
Compensation : Negotiable
