CNE has an extensive digital distribution network of nearly 60 partners across about 2,300 websites.
The role
CNE’s Creative Strategy & Video Optimisation team is looking for a YouTube Channel Manager to optimise and publish digital videos for some of the world’s most recognised beauty and lifestyle brands including Allure, Glamour, SELF, and Teen Vogue.
Candidates must have experience building, managing and growing communities across multiple established YouTube channels in addition to distributing and optimising content for other endpoints, including the company’s Owned & Operated sites, Syndication, CTV, Social and more.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital video, how it's consumed, how it's shared and must love geeking out with data.
The position is based in London and will report to CNE’s Director, Video. Operations.
Primary Responsibilities
Build, manage and grow multiple YouTube channels
Optimise and publish digital videos across multiple endpoints, being critically aware of the appeal of content, how it’s recommended, and clicked on
Write titles and descriptions for videos, optimising for YouTube, O&O, OTT, Social and other endpoints
Advanced thumbnail creation for multiple platforms, including YouTube and Snap
Metadata optimisation
Work within an internal content management system and suggest enhancements to improve operational efficiency
Content ID Support
Monitor monetisation effectiveness
Continuously monitor and proactively reoptimise library content
Partner on and implement commerce initiatives
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role for a media company, creator or mcn
Be the ultimate partner, forging strong relationships across multiple brands and departments including Programming, Production, Sales, Marketing, Rev Ops, Commerce and more.
Be curious and entrepreneurial, always looking for new methods to grow CTR, impressions and views on new and library content
Willingness and eagerness to learn, iterate, and grow as new products and partnerships are launched
Highly detail oriented, strong intuition, and organised
