Job description
This is a specialised role within CAMH Service to ensure the mental health needs are met for those in contact with the criminal justice system and to act as the representative of health within the multi-agency Youth Justice Service (YJS). The post holder will work autonomously within professional guidelines of the YJS/CAMHS framework.
To support the delivery of care to a defined case load of young people who are identified as presenting mental health needs. This task involves providing specialist consultation, mental health screening and assessment that will be completed in collaboration with all members of the multi-disciplinary team, FACTS, CAMHS Inreach services, other agencies, service users, their families and carers.
