Community Youth Serivces is made up of a number of youth engagement services that seek to support young people where they are at. We are community based enabling youth provisions to be directly delivered in communities. Youth Voice is at our core ensuring we deliver services to young people that are relevant to their needs.
To deliver high energy, creative, ambitious youth work, using community infratstrucutres promoting contexual safety, providing a full program of youth work opportunities and informal learning using Open access, outreach and detached methods, targeted group work and referrals to wider services. To lead on service development, supervise and recruit part time youth workers.
Do you have significant experince in managing youth and community work? Are you able to work with a range of partners and to advocate and represent young people and youth and community work to affect change.

Full-time employees work 37 hours for 52 weeks of the year and we offer a generous holiday entitlement. We are open to discussions about a wide range of flexible working opportunities which benefit you and the Council, including reduced hour contracts, working part time or as a job share.
