Youth Community Engagement Facilitator
About the Role
Our Youth Community Engagement Officers will develop our Youth Community Collective programme by bringing together disabled and non-disabled young people to challenge the barriers disabled young people face and to make real change in their own communities.
Main Responsibilities
The main responsibilities for our Youth Community Engagement Officer is to reach out and engage with disabled and non-disabled young people to become part of the programme. Continuing to deliver regular in person meet ups and deliver online meetings, you will also build partnerships with local organisations who will help young disabled people achieve their aims. You will monitor and report on progress including budgets, and you will manage your own time to make things happen.
Permanent - 17.5 per week
Location - Cardiff office -4, Castlebridge, 5 -19 Cowbridge Road East, Cardiff, CF11 9AU and the role will involve some homeworking.

About You
You will be experienced at working with young disabled people in a community setting and at stepping back so that they can take the lead. You will be an experienced facilitator and understand your local community. You will know what it takes to work independently and to build successful partnerships that result in progress and positive change for young disabled people.
