Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00-17:00

Salary: £24,421.00 per annum

Main purpose of the job:

We are looking for a Yard Administrator for our busy BCA Corby site (Baird Road).

Within this role, you will be joining a team that provides support to ensure smooth running of day-to-day operations within your division. An ideal candidate for this role will have great administrative and data entry skills, a flexible approach and lots enthusiasm. This role reports directly to the Office Manager.

This location of a BCA is easily accessible from Corby, Kettering, Wellingborough, Oakham, Thrapston, Rushden and Market Harborough.

Main responsibilities:

  • General yard office duties such as completing data, uploading files to the internal systems, filling paperwork, responding to telephone and email queries
  • Creating and maintaining records of incoming vehicles and liaising with the site on any vehicles that have been rejected
  • Managing movement schedule and vehicle tracker
  • Dealing with any customer returns for repairs ensuring a quick turnaround
  • Other ad-hoc administrative duties will be included

Skills and experience required:

  • Previous administrative experience (essential)
  • Computer literate with experience in using Excel (essential)
  • Strong communicative skills – speaking, reading and writing (essential)
  • Excellent numerical and literacy skills
  • You will be passionate to work within the motor industry and take pride in their work, to the highest standards of work set by customers
  • Excellent attention to detail
