Entry-level candidates are always welcome. Previous experience taking minutes or with condo boards/associations will be an asset for this role, but is not mandatory. You must be comfortable using your own laptop or computer, and be able to upload .docx files.

The Process

• Accept our Challenge and complete the first part of our assessment process
• Hear back within 3-5 business days (even if unsuccessful)
• Interview to get to know you and learn more about our great team
• Enroll into our four-week Training Program
• Successfully complete the Training Program and start accepting meetings independently

The Perks

At Minutes Solutions, flexibility comes first. We always work with your availability and schedule in mind. On average, our Minute Takers attend 2-4 meetings per week. Most of our meetings take place during the week (M-F) between 4-8pm EST.

We offer a variety of live virtual, in-person, and recorded meetings, and you have the option to work 100% remotely. You will be able to accept or decline meetings as they are offered to you, and work with customers in a wide range of industries – no meeting is ever the same!

Our training and mentorship program is designed for entry-level Minute Takers who are seeking to improve and strengthen their writing and minute-taking skills. You will have the opportunity to work directly with our super talented team of Editors!

We offer competitive compensation. The starting rate after training is $80/virtual meeting or $90/in-person meeting up to two hours. For meetings that go beyond two hours, you will be offered an additional $12 per 30 minutes, rounded up. All payments will be made in $CAD via direct deposit. Compensation is based on the duration of the meeting, and does not include the time it takes to format and finalize your minutes after the meeting.

Our Minute Takers are also the first to be offered any full-time or part-time permanent positions, and we offer the potential for growth based on the quality of your work.
