Job description
Looking for a talented Script Writer to craft an engaging story for Youtube videos. This person will develop engaging and informative 10-minute scripts that offer a unique business perspective for our trucking industry content. The successful candidate will be able to research, write and edit scripts that deliver information in an interesting, clear, and concise manner. The topic ideas should be centered around the trucking in Canada and the USA.
The scripts should have the following criteria:
- 1500 to 2000 words for the main script x 3 per week
- Write original narration scripts for our social media platforms
- Well-researched with accurate information
- Written in conversational English that is easy to understand
- Has an engaging story that flows well
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct extensive research on cross border trucking topics
- Develop engaging, 10-minute scripts that offer educational content and a unique business perspective. Aim is 3 scripts/week
- Edit scripts as necessary to ensure accuracy, clarity, and brevity while maintaining an engaging tone.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure that the content is appropriate for our target audience and that it meets the desired goals.
- Stay current with business trends and changes to ensure that content is up-to-date and relevant.
Requirements:
- A proven track record in screenwriting .
- Excellent research, writing, and editing skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a simple, engaging manner.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other team members to achieve the desired results.
