The Role
This role is for a workshop mechanic working in Power Plant Support and Engine Health Monitoring Workshops at our London Heathrow Engineering Base. The role consists of looking after and processing routine and diagnostics samples from our engine and auxiliary powerplant units which are sent back from the ramp and hanger areas. You would be working with various departments and stakeholders to maintain the British Airways fleet of engines, underpinning our standards of maintenance excellence.
Skills Required

- You will have good engineering hand skills and must be able to follow procedures and technical documentation.
- You will demonstrate good interpersonal and people skills and be an effective communicator.
- You will have good analytical and problem-solving skills and be PC literate.
- You can work with engineering and document management systems.
- Experience in an aviation environment is desirable but not essential.
