The post holder will be the first point of contact for any reactive maintenance concerns through the SRUC systems (Shared Services Help Desk, Ask SID or PIRANA). The post holder will work under the supervision of Compliance Officer (CO), this post holder will be expected to use industry standards and practical hands-on knowledge to ensure that maintenance work is completed to Statutory standards.
The post holder will use their experience and knowledge to decide on the urgency and prioritise in the most cost-effective way for any maintenance concerns to be resolved which may involve engaging and coordinating several contractors through the Measured Term Contract ((MTC)).
The (WO) has overall responsibility to manage the reactive elements of the (MTC) contract within their area of responsibility, this includes working closely with the (CO), colleagues and customers in SRUC to arrange suitable time for work to be completed, monitoring the work through to completion and reviewing the quality and effectiveness of any work carried out before signing off.
The post holder will co-ordinate the delivery of all day-to-day site-based reactive maintenance activities and engage any contractors working on behalf of SRUC.
