About the Trust

George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust provides a range of elective, non-elective, surgical, medical, women’s, children’s, diagnostic and therapeutic services to a population of more than 300,000 people. The hospital opened in 1948. The hub of the Trust is located on the outskirts of Nuneaton and its services cover a large footprint, including north Warwickshire, south west Leicestershire, and north Coventry. The Trust also provides a range of community services, delivered across Coventry, Warwickshire, and Leicestershire. These include sexual health and community dentistry services for the whole of Warwickshire as well as hosting the Blue-Sky Sexual Assault Referral Centre.

What you’ll be responsible for:

· Monitor, manage and respond to the Workforce Information inbox queries

· Update ESR as necessary, i.e., amending email addresses, creating new position numbers, approving ESR changes

· Provide standard and ad-hoc reports from the ESR system

· Communicate with managers and employees, face to face and on the phone, to support with queries

· Provide support to the Workforce Information Team

You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You’ll have the following skills/experience:

· Excellent communication skills- both verbal and written

· Microsoft office skills- Outlook, Word, and Excel

· Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

· Previous NHS experience

· Previous experinece managing staff

· Knowledge of accounts payable processes and issues

· NHS System Knowledge- ESR (desirable)
