Job description

We have a great opportunity based at our Dunstable campus for a Work Placement Coordinator to become a key member of our Centre Administration department.

As a Work Placement Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students through:

  • Contacting and building relationships with employers, partners and external agencies to provide industry placements, work experience opportunities and identify other employer opportunities incl. guest speakers, workshops etc.
  • Working with employers with regard to Health & Safety
  • Collecting feedback from students and employers

Our ideal candidates will have experience of working within an administrative role and working with young people in some capacity or other, alongside the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of Grade A-C, or equivalent, at GCSE English and Maths
  • A Level 2 Qualification or equivalent

Contract Type – Bedford College Professional Services

  • 37 hours per week (1.0 FTE) / 52 weeks per year
  • 27 days per annum (plus public holidays)
