Work Placement Coordinator
Hours – 18 hours per week Permanent Position
Salary - £21,856 - £23,955
Location – Stockport, Cheadle and Marple
The Trafford College Group (TCG) has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Work Placement Coordinator to join the team to help us achieve our vision of unlocking potential and fostering success, specifically supporting our Art, Design and Creative Media department.
We have recently entered a new and exciting phase through the merger with Cheadle and Marple 6th Form College. The merger has extended the reach of our vision to further shape and lead 16-19 and adult education across the borough of Stockport.

The Role:
You will liaise with organisations to identify and secure work experience opportunities for students; you will also work closely with curriculum teams and managers to facilitate a well-planned work experience programme.

We are looking for someone who has a proven track record of success in the employability, recruitment or work experience field (or similar), who has previous outstanding business development skills; the ability to liaise effectively with employers and other agencies. In addition you will have previous experience of identifying the knowledge and skills of learners and coaching and supporting learners to ensure targets are achieved.
To be successful in this role you must have Maths and English at Level 2 or equivalent.
