About the role:
Activate Learning are recruiting for Work Experience Coordinators to join our faculties and support a caseload of students to develop their employability skills and prepare for a work experience placement relevant to their career plans.
You will work with our faculty teams of learning professionals to deliver ‘Preparation for Placement’ sessions to students and deliver progress tracking sessions throughout the academic year to ensure all students are given the appropriate guidance and support to complete each stage of the work experience process.
You will ensure that all placements are accurately recorded on our work experience placement system and proactively support students and employers throughout the placements, ensuring excellent outcomes for all stakeholders.
This is a full-time, term-time only post based at our City of Oxford College Campus.

If you have a genuine interest in supporting students to develop their work readiness and employability skills, then we would love to hear from you.
Your communication and interpersonal skills will be outstanding and support your ability to deliver inspirational individual or group sessions to learners.
About you:
- Experience of one-to-one student support and delivering group sessions to learner groups
- Excellent communication skills and organisation skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise competing deadlines
- Attention to detail
