2020 Recruitment are working with our Middleton based client who are looking to add a Woodwork Operative to their team on an ongoing contract.As the Woodwork Operative, you will primarily responsible for the making of cases for packaging as well as assisting with packing.You will be keen to take on challenges, develop your leadership and or skills potential as well as expand your knowledge and experience through a variety of exciting initiatives.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAs the Woodwork Operative your duties will include:Responsible for the packing and manufacture of skids and crates for system dispatch as requiredResponsible for ensuring product is labelled, marked and marshalled for customer collectionsAssist with the packing of spares items for dispatch via couriersKeep equipment and work area clean and orderly and perform basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment if necessaryComply with all Company, Quality + HSE policies and procedures.Carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line managerRequirementsTo be considered for the position of Woodwork Operative you must have the following skills and experience:Experience working with woodwork machineryWorking in a packing/warehouse environmentBasic packing for UK and export requirementsExperience of manufacturing packing crates and skids within a manufacturing/warehouse environmentManual HandlingHealth and SafetyForklift Licence(desirable)PackageAs the Woodwork Operative you will be offered the following package:· Hourly rate of £14.50· Minimum of 4 months work· Career and skills development· Pension contributions· Holiday payApplyTo apply for this position or to learn more about the role please get in touch with Robert at 2020 Recruitment by phone or email.Email: [email protected]: 01592 805600Job Types: Temporary contract, Full-timeContract length: 4 monthsSalary: £14.50 per hourSchedule:Monday to FridayWork Location: In personReference ID: 479
