About the Role

Our client with two clinics in Haywards Heath & Burgess Hill, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pelvic Health Physiotherapist to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a unique position that requires up to 10 hours per week working in women’s health based at Haywards Heath, and additional hours between the two clinics offering MSK treatments. This provides an excellent opportunity to work in a well-established and reputable clinic with a strong focus on delivering high-quality pelvic health and MSK physiotherapy services.

Working Arrangements:

• This is a perm contract with flexible working hours, offering up to 10 hours per week on women’s health treatments
• Our client will provide the necessary clinical facilities, equipment, and administrative support.

About You

You must have the following qualifications and Skills:

• Degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
• HCPC registered
• Postgraduate training or certification in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy.
• Proven experience in treating a wide range of pelvic health conditions, preferably within a private practice setting.
• Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills for identifying and formulating treatment plans for pelvic health issues.
• Proficiency in conducting internal assessments and providing manual therapy techniques for pelvic floor rehabilitation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish effective therapeutic relationships with patients.
• Empathy, sensitivity, and a patient-centered approach to care, demonstrating understanding of the emotional and psychological aspects of pelvic health conditions.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional development, including attending relevant courses, conferences, and staying updated with current research.
• Ability to work independently, manage a caseload, and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in maintaining accurate clinical records.
• A proactive and enthusiastic attitude towards promoting pelvic health services and contributing to the growth of the clinic.
• A full UK driving license and own vehicle

Our client provides professional treatments for: Physiotherapy - musculo/skeletal problems, women's and men's health, ante and post-natal care, Clinical Pilates/classes, Chiropody, Podiatry, Acupuncture, sports and therapeutic massage, Alexander Technique, CBT Counselling and Indian head massage.

Established in 1919, our client has been specialising in all musculoskeletal (MSK) problems and have been looking after the people of Sussex for more than 100 years! They are a researched based profession and all of their practitioners collect data that is assessed and analysed by the University of Brighton and through this their physiotherapists have achieved Quality Assured status (QAP). What does this mean? In up to 80% of their patients, they completed or exceeded the goals they set and they did this in treatment times that were better than the national average.

Patient satisfaction is important to them, so they collect measures on how well they have done with each patient and their condition, measuring health state via wellbeing and functionality questions. Again, results show that they achieve their shared goals, with improved positive scores on all measures.

They are renowned for their delivery of excellent patient outcomes. Working from two clinics (Burgess Hill and Haywards Heath), its continued expansion is due to high levels of patient loyalty, strong physiotherapy networks, a consistent number of medical referrals, and an excellent reputation within the profession and broader community.
