We are a global team of highly experienced experts with practical knowledge from projects all over the world. The combined Wind and Solar Analysis team now totals more than 35 staff in offices in Australia, China, Denmark, Germany, Taiwan, Thailand, UK and USA. We are involved throughout the development and operation of utility scale onshore wind, offshore wind and solar farms. We work both for internal clients, within K2 Management, and external clients varying from the largest global wealth management firms to small independent developers. All rely on our insight and experience to improve their generation projects. We provide a full range of analysis services from early project development support through to financial-grade energy yield assessments based on site wind data measurements or operational turbine SCADA data.

  • Written and verbal communication of complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Effective teamwork in order to deliver projects on time and to budget

K2 Management is committed to the delivery of high quality and accurate outputs; therefore, research and development (R&D) is an important aspect of our work. In addition to core consultancy work, every member of staff is encouraged to contribute to R&D to improve our understanding of wind farms and ensure we are working at the cutting edge of the industry. Past R&D projects have included industry-leading studies into real-world turbine performance, the largest published validation of offshore wind farm energy yield assessment and developing our internal CFD (OpenFOAM) and mesoscale (WRF) modelling workflows.

Our working environment is open plan, allowing junior staff immediate opportunity to work closely with experienced senior staff.
