Job description
PERMANENT ROLE – Salary: £23,712 per annum
Key Responsibilities; -
- The Guard is responsible for opening the stores, this includes unlocking the store, switching on the lights, disarming the main alarm system and the alarm on the rear doors.
- Recording the seal numbers at each store on the paperwork, before the unloading starts, and when the unloading is complete.
- Removing the stock from the taillight and into the store stockroom, placing in the correct locations.
- Reloading all of the store returns onto the taillight, i.e.: -Empty cages and totes, return stock and cardboard.
- Ensure all stock is scanned and cross referenced against the paperwork, counted correctly for the correct store and any discrepancies clearly marked on the store’s paperwork.
- Re-securing the stores, making sure that all bars and locks are in place, all alarms are reset correctly.
Person Specification: -
- Excellent Team player
- Excellent communicator (verbal & written)
- Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
- Excellent organisational skills
- Need to be flexible in line with customers’ requirements.
