Apprenticeships
As an innovative firm, we encourage and support the development of apprenticeships within the legal sector. At present, we have a solicitor apprentice, paralegal apprentice and a business administrator apprentice.

About the role
We will support you throughout the learning journey, to learn and develop the necessary skills, knowledge and behaviours to achieve the apprenticeship. The role will involve working within our Wills, Trusts & Probate team, managed by Jane Hunter our Private Client Partner, assisting our lawyers with their caseloads. Your support and assistance will help contribute to the overall success of the team and the firm.

Responsibilities
- Assisting with opening and archiving files (both physical and electronic files).
- Drafting and formatting letters and documents.
- Corresponding with clients by phone and email.
- Organising client and departmental meetings.
- Note taking during client and internal meetings.
- Raising and sending out invoices and assisting in chasing debtors.
- Preparing monthly reports on billing within the department.
- Processing payments in and out (by cheque and bank transfer).
- Assistance in original documents and deeds storage and collection.
- Assisting with marketing campaigns.
Candidate requirements
- Minimum of 5 GCSE’s Grades A-C or 4-9 including Maths and English
- Ability to travel to both our Altrincham Office and Lymm Office
- Understanding of Office Management systems (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel etc.)
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to multitask
- Problem solving skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team
- Professional and friendly
