We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Sales Assistant Manager to work within our busy Wholesale sales office to develop existing and new accounts in conjunction with the Area Sales Team and to be accountable for accounts assigned to you on sales, GP, units and brands, offering a great customer service, handling general enquiries, prospecting new customers and ensuring the agreed ‘Customer Journey’ is carried out with every customer.
The successful candidate will
- Manage customers within customer credit limits and take payments when necessary.
- Manage business / brand promotions and make sure these are communicated to all customers
- Process customer orders and make sure the correct information is processed.
- Giving product information including stock availability, prices and delivery.
- Place enquiries and orders with 3rd party suppliers.
- Record/report details on any stock shortages
- Make sure the correct delivery information is processed.
- Communicate customer information to the Management and Area Sales Managers and update CRM.
- Manage your customers to maximise sales and profit
- Achieve monthly sales targets
- Liaise with Logistics, Accounts and Retail when needed
