We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, innovative and enthusiasticWellbeing service lead to join our team atHMP YOI Feltham. Applications welcomed from mental health nurses, psychologists, therapists and social workers with experience in senior roles and interest in both clinical and operational management.By joining Integrated Health Care Team, you will work within a multidisciplinary service as part of the senior management team ensuring young people and adults residing in Feltham receive age appropriate, high quality care in partnership with the Youth Custody services, HMPS and other agencies.

The post holder will lead the Wellbeing provision, to ensure a trauma informed and tailored service focussed on the complex needs of the population. The post holder is responsible for strategic and operational Leadership of the service as well as supporting the clinical leadership, ensuring that the highest quality age appropriate , evidence-based services are provided.

- Deputise for the Head of healthcare
- Management and leadership – providing line management and clinical supervision to a team of nurses , therapist and assistant posts.
- Strategic development of the service as part of the senior management team
- Clinical governance – monitoring, auditing and providing assurance in relation to quality of the service
- Ensure service meets the appropriate standard ( e.g. CYPSS. NICE, NMC, CYPIPS, HJIPS)
- Provide education to healthcare staff, young people and YOI staff
- Co-ordinate crisis support services and response
- Preparing performance , Serious incident and audit reports
- Human resource management ie performance, absence, sickness etc
