Location: Hull

Duties and Responsibilities-Welders:
Safety is a priority, employee must understand fabrication risks and bring them to the attention of their supervisor.Welds components in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions.
Determines required equipment and welding method, applying knowledge of metallurgy, geometry, and welding techniques.
Must be able to weld pipe and pipe assembly components of all kinds, sizes, and alloys, such as carbon steel, chrome, stainless steel and duplex using GTAW (TIG) and SMAW (MMA) welding procedures.
Work with different types and sizes of materials.
Determine and use the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
Read, understand project ITP document for welding and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures.
Assist in lifting, positioning, and securing of pipe and spools during assembly.
Observe and comply with all safety and project rules.
Ability to guide trainee Welders may be requested.
Perform other duties as requested.
