Due to business growth, we are recruiting for Welder/Fabricators to join our busy Pre-Production department. You will manufacture and convert components by using general welding and fabrication tools and techniques.
Key Responsibilities are:
- Complete and adhere to departmental induction instructions, complete minimum safety training documentation and practical assessments as required by the company
- Carry out all work in accordance with relevant safe systems of work
- Attend all additional training as required to include updating appropriate coding certification when necessary
- Adhere to job cards and complete all work in accordance with information provided, paying attention to the order of work and the time allowed
- Strive to complete all work in accordance with standard allowed times and report any delays to supervisor
- Report any faulty or broken components to supervisor immediately
- Comply with quality control systems, methods and documentation and maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
To be effective in this role, you will be a time served or qualified Welder with M.I.G. experience and you will be proficient in the use of measuring equipment. Experience of T.I.G., welding stainless steel and aluminium and of operating a press brake would be advantageous but is not essential.
Hours of work are Monday – Wednesday 7am - 6pm & Thursday 7am - 5.30pm. Nightshift working may be required. Earn up to £13.40 per hour DOE + bonus.
