Carry out high-quality welding
As a Welder you will carry out fabrication on machined parts to a high degree of quality. You'll be able to work under your own initiative to meet the production schedule of the shop. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills whilst working on some innovative products.
As a Welder, you will be responsible for:
- Manufacturing of Subsea Wellhead & Tubular equipment as well as General Fabrication duties
- Reading and understanding engineering drawings and Welding procedures,
- Setting up, monitoring, and welding components in accordance with the specific weld procedure, and grinding excess overlay
- Compiling and recording weld maps and traceability record sheets
- Adhering to company quality procedures and to safety and environmental policies
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have completed welding apprenticeship
- Be able to show experience in Sub Arc welding, MIG, TIG, MMAW & FCAW processes.
- Use of Flame cutting equipment and fabrication;
- Grinding equipment, Saws and general Workshop Tooling
- Work as part of a team as well as on their own
- Be proactive to help drive improvements through the shop
- Must be flexible with shift work and overtime when required
