Then join our skilled team in Motherwell as a Welder (MIG) where you will apply your skills to manufacture our hauler chassis and bodies. This will involve marking, cutting, burning, folding and forming complex heavy steel parts that form our world class haulers.

You will be a part of a busy manufacturing workshop that utilises cranes, hoists, heavy-duty guillotines, oxyacetylene flame cutters, rollers and presses. Previous experience operating all of the aforementioned is advantageous, but not a necessity.

Within this position, successful candidates must be able to work dayshift and nightshift, shift allowances are applied including overtime. Our site in Motherwell offers great work-life balance through a 4 day work week:
Days – Monday to Thursday, 7am to 4.30pm.
Nights – Monday to Thursday 9.30pm to 7.15am.
Overtime is available Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

You will have:
  • A relevant time-served apprenticeship/trade papers.
  • Knowledge and experience of welding processes and equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE.
  • Good attention to detail to ensure company and industry standards are achieved.
  • The ability to work methodically and efficiently.
