Role: Welder
Start: Immediate
Rate: £18.00 per hour
Hours: 37hr working week plus overtime when required.

Based in Hillington, Glasgow. APH Hydraulics Engineering Ltd. is a specialist manufacturer of custom cylinders and actuators for the Oil & Gas, Subsea, Defence & Industrial markets.
Role Description:
To carry out welding of our hydraulic cylinders. The suitable candidate will be experienced in, and capable of, welding in various positions, using predominantly MIG/MAG and arc welding techniques, to various specifications. We are looking for an effective communicator, who can work both individually and as part of a team in a busy factory environment.
Required skills:
- Time served recognised Engineering apprenticeship
- Able to interpret technical drawings
- Min 5 years’ experience in a workshop environment
- Demonstrable MIG/MAG & arc welding experience including proven ability to achieve coding
- Able to work under own initiative
- Effective team contributor
Desirable skills:
- Fitting experience
- Working within a factory environment
- Forklift licence
