Job description
Acuvent Eng Group is a multi disciplined engineering company based in Dundee, due to continued expansion we currently have positions available for Sheetmetal / Fabricator Welders. This is a great opportunity to join an already growing company with a huge amount of experience servicing projects in all parts of the UK ventilation and Engineering sector.
We would require the candidate to be able to MIG & TIG weld • Have experience in working with Mild steel, Stainless Steel & aluminium • Read technical drawings and sketches in order to build jobs to specification • To fabricate from technical drawings using MIG and TIG welding using various methods of assembly. • Assess equipment, structures, materials, and job specifications for appropriate welding positions and methods • Monitor equipment for appropriate usage and temperature • Maintain a thorough knowledge of universal standards • Able to continuously asses the customer’s order and be able to manufacture in the most efficient and safest manner. • Monitor work environment for hazards • Follow safety protocol.
