The opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Weekend Receptionist to join our team. Reporting into the Sales Manager you will be working as part of a large team responsible for the service and after sales care of our customers.

As Receptionist you’ll be the first point of contact for customers both in the dealership and over the phone so it is important that you are a warm and confident individual who thrives in a customer focused environment. Part of your role will also include administration for both sales and service departments so the ability to be organised and adaptable with great attention to detail is a must.

The working hours for this position are:

Saturday: 9.00am-5.00pm

Sunday: 11.00am-5.00pm

  • Taking inbound telephone enquiries
  • Transferring customers to the correct department
  • Welcoming and signing in any visitors
  • Dealing with day to day administration in the dealership
  • Maintaining sundry and drinks areas

  • Strong administration skills
  • Experience of managing your own workload
  • Attention to Detail
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal

Founded in 2003 by Michael Smyth and his three sons, David, Peter and John, Swansway has grown from five motor dealerships in Cheshire and the West Midlands to the 20 dealerships we have today. From Birmingham in the South to Carlisle in the North we partner with eleven brands including; Audi, Volkswagen, Land Rover, Honda and many more.

We’re expanding our own-brand, Motor Match our used sites, and we don’t stop at dealerships; we operate four Volkswagen Group Trade Part Centres, an Accident Repair Centre, a Group Fleet Sales Centre and an eBay shop re-cycling obsolete parts. All this is supported by our Head Office in Crewe.
