The home of the Wagon Wheel & Jammie Dodgers is now looking for some extra support across our Weekend Shift. If you have a great work ethic and are keen to get stuck in, this is the role for you as full training will be provided so no previous experience in a manufacturing environment is required although you must be comfortable working at height and working within restricted areas. As a Weekend Operator, you will carry out dismantling, cleaning and reassembly of equipment as required. You will be required to maintain standards of hygiene and achieve on-target weekly and monthly audit scores. Based from our historic Llantarnam bakery you support the Process Operators, which is the baking part of our process from raw dough mixtures. This will be a key role in helping to enable on-target production line start up, through to thorough cleaning and correct reassembly after shut downs. Hours: 24 Hours per week. Shift: 5.30am-5.30pm Saturday (12 Hours) and 5.30am-5.30pm Sunday (12 Hours) Location: Llantarnam Bakery (Due to the times of the shift, please make sure you research how you will get to site, as public transport in most cases might not be viable on these days.) As we manufacture many amazing biscuits, we have a number of key pieces of equipment that need to be dismantling, cleaned and reassembled, such as,Rotary mouldersExtrudersChocolate enrobersLaminatorBatter, Jam and Mallow systemsOvens The successful candidate will be required to work at heights, in restricted spaces and underneath conveyors (following the appropriate training). Are able to gain your Level 2 food hygiene – training provided in-house at point of joining.
